can't believe summer is almost over. meetings start in 9 days! i saw the schedule. i think these next couple of weeks will go by quickly. wow. then orientation and first week of school. still so much i wanted to do this summer. hmmm... still gotta write to my kids. still gotta finish writing the music out for the songs. still gotta work on my credential binder. still gotta work on my publishing company. where has the time gone? whew.
am glad i went to coffee talk. a last minute thing, but it turned out fine. was nice to hang out with people my age. haven't done that in awhile. was talking to benny today about that. he still wants me to help with the career thing at church. not sure i have the energy. it is hard to be optimistic about that. especiallly with the people my age. have to pray about that.
and well, i gave in. i did order the frank peretti books, as well as another "God is in the small stuff". hee hee hee. they should come by next week. i can't wait!
neat stuff... davey has been added to the kingdom of God. woohoo! oh, the power of prayer. and to hear little grace pray! such a blessing. simple, yet so sincere. God is so good. God is still good. God still is good. and God is in the small stuff. what an awesome book. i think my new favorite author is frank peretti. already own and have read 4 of his books this summer. an awesome reminder of the importance of prayer and the spiritual battle we are in, whether we remember we're in it or not. i wanna order 3 more of his bools. hmmm... but it might keep me from doing my school work. ummm... like emailing and talking online has? oops. which reminds me...gotta order another "God is in the small stuff". what an awesome book. at LC we had to write down our favorite book for the get-to-know-the-sponsors game. it was so difficult to choose just one book. =) the phantom tollbooth (the coolest book ever), this present darkness, chronicles of narnia, left behind, prayer of jabez, anne of green gables, my utmost for his highest, and many, many, MANY others... ahhh...
