well, back to work tomorrow. can't believe 2 weeks have passed so quickly. can't complain though. i know other people have had to work throughout. my sisters only had 2 days off... christmas and new year's. am not ready to go back to work. my sleep pattern is all out of whack. stayed out/up too many times. i think what threw me most was new year's eve when i didn't get to sleep until 6:30 in the morning. was fun though. then waking up early for snowboarding on friday. was worth it though. the snow was awesome... fresh powder. was extremely cold though. thought i might catch cold, but didn't. the ride home was crazy. left sierra at 4:30 and didn't get home until 11:30. wanted to sleep in on saturday, but went to volunteer at the alameda food bank as part of the xP JAC project. then had lunch at sushi house. yum. i hope we'll get to eat at hiro's sushi on saturday. that still is my favorite sushi place. if you're ever in north tahoe, you must check it out.

pastor steve's message today was challenging. lots to think about. was a good way to start off the new year.
