Tomorrow it's back to work. I've enjoyed this week off... maybe too much. I was able to get a lot done, but not all that I wanted. The saddest part? My brand new keyboard is still sitting in its box, unopened. Man! Was hoping to be able to play with it, especially since I got it Monday night. *argh* Hope it won't sit there until summer.
How did the my vacation pass so quickly? Super busy.
Monday- did laundry, graded papers, worked on report cards, went to Guitar Center to buy my Yamaha ES8 88 Synthesizer
Tuesday-
snowboarding at Northstar w/ Mich, Ryan, KJ, & Hubert , dinner at Hiro Sushi
Wednesday- spent most of the day with Tina, watched Greg's little league game, home team
Thursday- worked on xP agenda and powerpoint slides, baked Smore bars to bring to Jon & Karen's, 1AC practice
Friday- snowboarding at Sierra, dinner at Outback, hung out in SF
Saturday- slept in, finished reading "Thunder of Heaven", worked on xP slides, xP planning meeting
Definitely had a fun week, but should've done more work. Felt a twinge of guilt about that, but decidedly ignored it because I felt I deserved a break. Hee hee hee. It'll all hit me tomorrow morning at work when I see that I could've gotten a lot done.
Am so glad I got to see Tina. Missed her so much. Such an encouragement and such a strong spiritual sister. Am also glad for Friday and being able to spend the whole day with a very good friend. I love being around people who just radiate the love of God. These 2 friends are so uplifting because their faith shows. I know that for these 2 people, it's an active faith, not one hidden or passive, but a faith they so freely demonstrate and live every day. You can just tell that these are the kind of people who have a strong relationship with God. I am truly blessed by their presence in my life.
