Still awake...

It's 2:49 AM and I'm still up. I finally finished with the song for Brethren Entertainment. Spent the last couple of hours trying to get the music software on my laptop to record. *argh* Connected the laptop to the MIDI box, then connected it to my keyboard. Was supposed to be simple. Play on the keyboard and notes show up on the computer screen. It did not work. *sigh* Am debating if I should stay up and do it all by hand (which will take about 5 hours to do) or wait until tomorrow. But tomorrow I'm meeting with the company owner. Hmmm... I hate leaving a project undone. So, here I am blogging (wasting time, I know), while I decide what I feel like doing.

Looking ahead...

Got some exciting news. Karen's coming! Yay! Can't wait to see baby Elizabeth. Sad that some of my closest friends are still so far away. Seems like the distance will be permanent for all three. Wish it weren't so. Anyways, Karen's coming on the 21st! Yay!
Some less exciting news (actually sad news, to be exact). Summer is over. Staff meetings begin Monday. =(

Decisions, decisions, decisions...
Okay, I've decided... to stay up a bit and write at least the melody line by hand. Looks like I won't be going to sleep until 4. My fault for procrastinating. Bye.
